What are the benefits of working with you rather than simply advertising the role?

These are important appointments and the market has changed. The people you want aren’t always looking at adverts. We work in partnership with you, adding capacity and additional expertise, to proactively search for candidates and engage them in a supportive way — to give you a much stronger response.

Most of our clients appoint first time — our success rate is over 95% — but if the field isn’t strong enough, we’ll be honest and recommend not appointing. We’ll work with you to agree the best next step and there’s no extra cost.

You won’t lose control of the process. We work in partnership — listening to what matters to you, offering honest advice, and providing constructive challenge where it adds value. We stay in regular contact, manage the workload, and keep everything moving. You’re fully supported throughout, but every key decision remains firmly with you.

Working with us will give you and your school/trust community the confidence you’ve explored the wider field. If the internal candidate is appointed, they gain the reassurance and credibility that comes from being tested against that external interest and from having worked through a robust process.

We work with a wide range of budgets and will always shape our approach to what’s realistic for you while meeting your needs. After an initial conversation, we’ll set out a clear proposal with a fixed fee — not a percentage of salary — so you know exactly what to expect.
